Biografía
Víctor J. Krebs (Ph.D., University of Notre Dame, EE.UU.), actualmente coordinador de la Red Latinoamericana de Estudios Posthumanos, es Profesor de Filosofía en el Departamento de Humanidades de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) y curador filosófico. Trabaja en la intersección entre tecnología, arte, lenguaje, psicoanálisis y cultura. Es presidente en funciones de la International Society for Universal Dialogue, coordina Hermes, el seminario permanente de filosofía contemporánea en el Centro de Estudios Filosóficos (CEF) de la PUCP, y fundó el Círculo Junguiano del Perú en 2009. Es coeditor (con William Day) de Seeing Wittgenstein Anew (Cambridge University Press, 2010) y autor de La imaginación pornográfica. Contra el escepticismo en la cultura (Lápix, 2014), y Human Virtuality and Digital Life (coescrito con Richard Frankel, Routledge, 2022) —galardonado con el Premio Gradiva 2022 de la National Association for the Advancement of Psychoanalysis y el Courage to Dream Book Prize 2023 de la American Psychoanalytic Association. Actualmente está escribiendo The Guide for the Poor Hedonist, y (con Richard Frankel) Dreaming Life in the Digital Age (de próxima publicación en 2026).
Bio
Victor J. Krebs (Ph.D., University of Notre Dame, USA), currently coordinator of the Latin American Posthuman Network, is Professor of Philosophy in the Department of Humanities at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) and philosophical curator. He works at the intersection of technology, art, language, psychoanalysis, and culture. He is acting Chair of the International Society for Universal Dialogue, coordinates Hermes, the permanent seminar on contemporary philosophy at the Center for Philosophical Studies (CEF) at PUCP, and founded the Peruvian Jungian Circle in 2009. He is co-editor (with William Day) of Seeing Wittgenstein Anew (Cambridge University Press, 2010) and author of La imaginación pornográfica. Contra el escepticismo en la cultura (Lápix, 2014), and Human Virtuality and Digital Life (co-written with Richard Frankel, Routledge 2022) –awarded the 2022 Gradiva Award from the National Association for the Advancement of Psychoanalysis and the 2023 Courage to Dream Book Prize from the American Psychoanalytic Association. Currently he is writing The Guide for the Poor Hedonist, and (with Richard Frankel) Dreaming Life in the Digital Age (forthcoming, 2026).
